The specimen shelf
Preserved animals — each jar a recorded walk cycle looping over its own genes
and shape, no simulation behind the glass. Preserve one from either dish with the
Preserve button; it lands here (this browser's shelf) and in a
downloaded .json you keep. A deployed site can also ship communal
jars: drop specimen files in web/specimens/ and list them in
index.json.
